Indian Hippy founder Hinesh Jethwani interviewed by Talk Show Host Archana Sah on All India Radio (AI) FM Gold 100.7, Parikrama, 2 February, 2010. In this interview, Hinesh describes how he located the last few remaining Bollywood / Hindi / Indian film poster artists in Mumbai, India and started his venture Indian Hippy that offers popular classic / vintage Indian film posters as well as new Hindi movie posters hand painted on accessories. Indian Hippy is credited in the interview for starting a new concept of “mobile art” by painting classic Bollywood movie posters and custom Indian film posters on leather accessories. In the interview, Hinesh explains how Indian Hippy’s talented Indian film poster artists who earlier used to paint film poster hoardings and billboards outside theaters have now adapted their art to paint on the mini canvas of wallets, belts, purses, handbags, etc. and their unique range of bollywood furniture, which features hand painted Hindi film posters. Posters have come a long way in our tradition.
